Donna R. Jantzen Named President of NIP Programs
David W. Springer, Group President and COO of NIP Group, today announced today the promotion of Donna R. Jantzen to the position of President of its Programs division, a growing national specialty insurance intermediary and service provider. Ms. Jantzen has served as Vice President of Programs since joining NIP in 2005. She will be assuming the Presidency effective immediately.
“During Donna’s tenure, the NIP Programs division expanded from one to eleven distinct industry programs with four different carrier partners. During this period, she was instrumental in developing sophisticated underwriting operations and controls, which have helped to enable this aggressive expansion,” said David Springer, NIP President and COO. He added, “Donna’s underwriting and compliance expertise is a valuable asset to NIP, as is her comprehensive understanding of insurance laws in many different states. I’m delighted that she will continue to be an instrumental part of our growth, for the next decade and beyond.”
Says Jantzen, “The entire NIP Programs Team is looking to capitalize on the success we’ve had in expanding our program offerings. Our goal is to continue expansion of our offerings to related industry-focused opportunities and to continue helping our broker partners solve difficult insurance problems for a select group of specialized industry segments. We will continue to deliver targeted program expertise and exceptional support and service.”
She adds, “By working closely with our established carrier relationships, we are confident that we can achieve our growth initiatives and as a result of doing so, we will be able help even more independent local brokers. I’m very much looking forward to working with Dave Springer and the entire NIP team to make this a reality.”
Ms. Jantzen is a Past President of Insurance Women of Ocean County (NJ); a former Officer of Independent Agents of Ocean County (NJ); and a Charter Member of the New Jersey Insurance Commissioner’s Insurance Education Advisory Board. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Insurance Woman of the Year Award, given by the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW).
