NIP Group is structured into three complementary business
units:
Group Captive
NIP Group Captive enables business professionals
in a common industry, who are experiencing severe difficulty
securing affordable insurance coverage, to form an association
in order to share risk as an alternative way to purchase commercial
insurance. The primary benefits are to gain control over the
availability and cost of insurance and avoid the pitfalls,
peaks and valleys of insurance coverage and premiums as dictated
by commercial insurers. NIP Group develops and manages these
alternative insurance programs and provides most of the essential
services.
Two recent programs developed by NIP Group are: Conventus
Inter-Insurance Exchange, a physician owned and governed
medical professional liability insurance reciprocal exclusive to
New Jersey physicians and surgeons; The Garden State Municipal
Joint Insurance Fund (GSMJIF), a property and casualty
fund serving New Jersey municipalities.
Programs
NIP Programs structures and manages business insurance programs
underwritten by top-rated major insurers for specific industries which
are underserved or overpriced by the general insurance market.
NIP Group uses its deep industry knowledge to develop unique
underwriting, loss control and claims service models valued
by both clients and insurers.
The Programs Division targets clients in the service industry
sector with fewer than 200 employees. Our flagship program,
LandPro® TreePro™ provides custom
commercial insurance for Landscapers and Tree Services companies. In 2007,
the Programs Division has launched GlassPro™,
designed specifically to serve glaziers, glass dealers and
installers nationwide, and GrowPro™,
tailored to the insurance needs of
greenhouses, nurseries, florists, and lawn & garden centers.
Specialty Brokerage
NIP Specialty Brokerage assists agents/brokers in the structure
and placement of complex insurance risks throughout the United
States by accessing NIP's brokerage expertise and relationships
with global insurance markets.
